Amy G. Brown OD is a native of Whitehall, Pennsylvania.  She graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science degree and graduated from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry, now known as Salus University, with a Doctorate in Dr. BrownOptometry. 


Her clinical training includes local externships at the Lebanon VA Medical Center, and Kirman Eye in Hummelstown.  She has also completed externships at the VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC and has traveled to Bethel, Alaska to do a 3 month externship at the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation. 


After optometry school, Dr. Brown resided in Columbia, South Carolina for 2 and a-half years with her husband, a SC native.  During her time there she completed an ocular disease residency at the Dorn VA Medical Center, ensuring the highest quality care for our nation’s Veterans.   She then became a part-time general optometry and low vision staff optometrist and took those skills to serve the residents of Del Rio and Corpus Christi, Texas while supporting her husband as he completed USAF Undergraduate Pilot Training.


Dr. Brown is enjoying being back in her home state for good.  She lives in Hershey with her husband and busy 2 year old daughter.  She enjoys working out, going to the local parks with her family, reading Nicholas Sparks books, and learning how to garden.
