Eye Exams

"I've never had such a thorough eye exam before."

This is a statement we hear from a lot of our patients on their first visit to our office. Our exams are not simply a check for glasses. Because many eye and systemic diseases are preventable or controllable with early intervention, we use the latest techniques and equipment to examine your eyes. We exceed Pennsylvania State Board requirements for eye exams so that we can detect problems early.

To enhance our view of the internal eye structures, we prefer to dilate the pupils or perform an Optomap retinal examination of most patients.

Every patient is afforded the necessary time in the exam room to provide a thorough eye examination, precise measurements, and a full discussion and education of their eye and visual status.

We have Wheel-chair Accessible Exam Rooms at our office.  These specially designed exam rooms enable us to provide full examinations while the patient remains seated in their wheelchair.

Rebman Eyecare continues to provide cutting-edge technology to provide you with the most advanced and thorough eye examination you have ever had!  Our newest addition...

The TRS-5100 is an automated refraction system that allows our doctors to control the entire refraction process from a keypad small enough to sit in the lap.  The keypad also controls the Computerized Chart Projector and because the TRS is completely, programmable, all the lenses move at the touch of a button. It integrates directly into our computerized medical records which improves accuracy and saves time during your examination.
